Self-directed, conceptual art project exploring the artist as impostor; working in a fantasy commercial setting for prop styling cosmetics and perfume - themselves products of fantasy and artifice, using natural found objects.
Employing techniques associated with fashion magazine editorial and advertising, such as flat lay, the works aim to trick the mind rather than the eye.
